Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Tim Edge collects, why, who it is shared with and the choices you have. Tim Edge (timedge.in) is operated by Traderinmaking Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated in India (“we”, “us”).

1. Data we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and profile photo when you sign in with Google, and the phone number you give us.
• Payment records: payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details; we keep the plan you bought, the amount, dates and Razorpay’s payment and subscription IDs.
• Trading data you choose to add: journal entries, trades, strategies, backtests and settings, and, if you connect a broker account (for example through cTrader), the account identifiers and access tokens needed to show your positions and to run strategies you deploy.
• Outside data accounts you connect: some features let you sign in to your own market-data or prop-firm provider. That login goes from your browser to the provider. When a feature needs our server to make a request with your token (for example to load chart history), the token is used for that request only and is not stored.
• Usage data: which features you use, when you were last active, your device and browser type, and technical logs such as IP addresses, which we use to run and secure the service.
• Messages: what you send us by email or WhatsApp.

2. Why we use it

• To provide the service: your account, charts, journal, analytics, backtests, and strategies you deploy on your own broker account.
• To process payments, manage subscriptions and keep billing records.
• To answer support requests and send service messages (sign-in, payment and account notices).
• To send product updates and offers by email or WhatsApp. You can stop these at any time with the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to support@timedge.in.
• To keep the service secure, prevent misuse and fix problems, and to improve the product.
• To meet legal obligations.

3. AI features

When you use an AI feature (for example the trading coach or the strategy builder), the text and data you submit to it are sent to our AI providers (Anthropic and Groq) to produce the answer. Do not enter information you do not want processed this way.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run Tim Edge, and only what they need:

• Google Cloud and Firebase (sign-in, database, hosting) and Oracle Cloud (servers that run market data and strategies);
• Razorpay (payments);
• email providers (Resend, Amazon Web Services) and Meta’s WhatsApp Business service (messages);
• AI providers (Anthropic, Groq) for the AI features;
• brokers and data providers you connect yourself.

We may also disclose data when the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of our users and of Tim Edge.

5. Where it is stored and how it is protected

Data is stored with the cloud providers above, which may keep it on servers outside India. We use access controls, encrypted connections and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your sign-in safe and tell us at once if you suspect misuse.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep, such as payment and tax records.

7. Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. To use any of them, write to support@timedge.in from the email address on your account.

8. Cookies and browser storage

We use your browser’s storage to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. We do not use advertising trackers.

9. Age

Tim Edge is meant for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and tell you by email or in the app when the change is significant.
